Hybrid edition

This year, Ngilngig enters the future of film festivals, a hybrid festival that links the physical and virtual screenings and events. The 8th edition of Ngilngig Asian Fantastic Film Festival will begin on October 27 and end on 30, 2022. Film screenings and activities will take place in Davao City, Philippines.

Eligibility

All short horror or fantastic-genre films coming from Asian regions with a maximum running time of 30 minutes and are completed between September 1, 2019 and September 1, 2022 are eligible for submission.

Deadline Extended

You may still submit your entries until 11:59pm of SEPTEMBER 15, 2022.

Submission forms

There is no limit to the number of films submitted. A completely filled-in submission form must be sent for each film submitted.

Short films produced or directed by Asian filmmakers.

Short films produced or directed by Filipino filmmakers.

Short films produced or directed by Mindanao filmmakers.
